About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Arborist Climber who’s passionate about preserving and caring for trees. The role involves pruning, removals, and general maintenance of trees and shrubs on both residential and commercial properties.

You’ll be part of a crew that values precision, professionalism, and safety above all else.

You’ll be doing things like:
• Climbing, pruning, and shaping trees following arboriculture best practices
• Operating specialized equipment (chipper, stump grinder, chainsaw, etc.) safely and efficiently
• Installing and inspecting structural support systems
• Performing chain saw sharpening and maintenance
• Advanced rigging for safe limb removal
• Following safety policies and site protocols at all times
• Supporting the crew leader and mentoring others as your experience grows

 

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years of climbing (MRS or SRS) or bucket operation experience
• Valid G driver’s license (ARZ preferred) and clean driver’s abstract
• Diploma or degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or Environmental Science preferred (not required)
• First Aid and CPR certification an asset
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills and a commitment to safe work practices
