Maple Hill is Dedicated to the Health and Safety of Trees.
Urban trees are struggling to survive outside of the natural environment of the forest. As a result, they need continual care and respect to continue to grow and thrive.
Our ethical and organic approach to caring for trees begins with newly planted trees and continues throughout the tree's life. We do this by helping our customers and clients nurture their mature urban trees to sustain their health, vigor, and longevity.
More Than Just a Team, We're Like Family.
Whether in a residential or commercial setting, trees add a general feeling of warmth, security, and beauty. Our mission at Maple Hill Tree Services is to help you manage, monitor, and maintain the health and safety of your trees and shrubs. Our ISA Certified Arborists will help guide you through a plan with your short and long-term goals for your property in mind.
Giving Back to Our Community
At Maple Hill Tree Services, believes in giving back to deserving causes in our local communities. Whether through fundraising, volunteering or donations, we're proud of our team member's ongoing involvement with charities and community programs that are close to our hearts.
Bruce Trail Volunteer Day
At Maple Hill, many of our staff enjoy spending time in the outdoors. That's why our team was very excited to have an opportunity to give back to our community by doing some work for the Bruce Trail. We removed some hazardous trees along a section of the trail in Burlington that the Bruce Trail's regular volunteers did not have the skills to handle. On February 10, 2022, all the field and office staff of Maple Hill Tree Services spent the day removing and pruning any hazards or hazardous trees to help make the trail safer for users. Everyone really enjoyed giving back to an organization that all of our employees can connect with.
Halton Learning Foundation Fundraising
The Halton Learning Foundation strives to eliminate financial barriers to education, for children in our community. The program ensures students have enough food, clothing, and school supplies to allow students to fully engage in learning opportunities.
We joined hands with executive director Lesley Mansfield to support this fantastic organization through our donations. Several of our furniture items made of salvaged Ash were featured in their Imagine the Possibilities Benefit Bash Silent Auction, helping raise over $10,000 for students!
Children’s Tree Climb
Over the years Maple Hill Tree Services has teamed up with Conservation Halton to help out with their Forest Festival. Maple Hill leads a Children’s Tree Climb where kids learn how to climb trees using harnesses and ropes. The Children’s Tree Climb has been a big hit and we welcome the opportunity to give kids a taste of our occupation. Who knows we may be inspiring future Arborists.
Habitat For Humanity
Habitat for Humanity Canada is a member of Habitat for Humanity International, which has built, rehabilitated, repaired or improved more than 600,000 houses worldwide, providing safe, decent and affordable shelter for more than 3 million people.
Sometimes there are trees on the build properties that need servicing; this is where Maple Hill lends a helping hand. We have been involved in 3 build sites, volunteering our services, in the Halton Region and hope to continue to help this wonderful program.
Donations
At Maple Hill we grind and compost all of the tree parts (from our pruning and removal operations) that can’t be recycled as part of our Renewable Resources program.
We have donated our mulch for many wonderful community projects such as The Backyard Farm & Market and to the school boards with gardening programs.
