Deep root compost tea
This organic soil amendment is brewed from compost and water and enhances the soil ecosystem, improving your tree's nutrient uptake and immune system.
Deep root fertilizer
A synthetic formula delivered directly to a tree's root system with all the necessary nutrient ingredients to promote good tree health, colour and strength.
Deep root myco bio
These beneficial fungi greatly increase the effective rooting area of trees, thereby enhancing plant growth, vigor, and tolerance of environmental extremes.
Deep root humate
An organic compound that helps root growth through enhanced nutrient uptake, improved water retention and loosening compacted soil.
Insecticidal soap
A natural mixture of water and potassium salts from fatty acids that can help prevent insect infestations but does not harm plants.
Pheromone traps
Pheromone traps are a non-toxic intervention that can be used to control populations of LDD moths, which are a common cause of pest infestation in Southern Ontario.
Dormant oil
Specialized horticultural oil applied during a tree's dormant season (typically winter) that helps control the spread insects and certain diseases.
Natural insect control with BTK
BTK is a great choice because it has no known toxic effects on humans, mammals, plants, birds fish, or honeybees. However it can be quite effective in controlling caterpillar infestations.
Targeted trunk injections
Trunk injections deliver pesticides and fertilizers directly into a tree's vascular system to address specific issues such as pests or nutrient deficiencies.
Tree-A-Zin
Tree-A-Zin applied directly to trees as a systemic insecticide. It is effecitve against a variety of insects including: Emerald Ash Borer, Spongy Moth, Tent Caterpillars, Spruce Budworm, Jack Pine Budworm, Arborvitae Leafminers, Sawflies, European Elm Scale, and Red Elm Bark Weevil.
