Can you do work in the winter?

Yes. The winter months can be the BEST time to remove or prune your trees. Trees are more easily accessible - and we don’t have to deal with the leaves! It’s also advantageous because the tree is dormant, reducing the chances of infection.

What is an ISA Certified Arborist?

ISA stands for the International Society of Arboriculture. ISA Certified Arborists are arborists that follow a code of ethics that ensures the reliability and credibility of their work. Hiring a tree service that has certified arborists on staff is the best way to guarantee the safety of you, your property, and the workers.

What is the best time to remove a tree?

Tree removal can happen at any time during the year. The winter months can be especially beneficial as the lack of leaves means the entire structure of the tree is more visible and accessible. As well, pruning during dormancy is ideal because during this time, the chances of infection by disease is greatly reduced.

Do I need a permit to remove my tree?

Municipal laws property owners to obtain a permit before removing a tree in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area. Contact your local municipality for more details or contact us.

A lot of things! When it’s possible, we remove the tree and salvage and recycle all of the wood material. The wood could be transformed into furniture or a variety of wood products such as live edge slabs, lumber or ground into mulch for use in gardens or natural areas.
